We champion and provide support services that build community, because we know that people thrive when they are connected.
Our success is thanks to each and every one of our 2000-strong team of employees who are committed, accepting and build honest relationships.
We’re a great team
We’re proudly open, inclusive, respectful, diverse and supportive. From wellbeing and support workers, art therapists, counsellors and peer workers to corporate service experts. No matter the role, our work helps to create our vision of an inclusive community.
Lived experience leadership
Peer learning and support – sharing wisdom gained from lived experience – makes a big difference to a person’s wellbeing, self-confidence, and personal power in recovery. We want people to access effective peer support and to ensure workers with lived experience lead at all levels of our organisation.
Wellbeing and community connection
Everyone should have the opportunity to lead a meaningful and satisfying life in the community where they want to live. And we know that people thrive when they are connected.
Partnerships that work
Partnerships is how we do business at Wellways. Our most important partnerships are with our participants – the users of our services. We also work with other organisations and community groups to provide holistic supports and build inclusive communities.
We’ve achieved so much during 2020-21 and we couldn’t be prouder.
Our annual review document details how we put our values into action to support more and more people, offering support where it’s needed the most.
