Glen has personal experience with chronic health conditions, mental health challenges, and resulting disability. With a background in hotel operations, trades and engineering, professional motorsports, and start-ups, he has gained a deep understanding of how authenticity, accountability, diversity, and teamwork contribute to collaborative team culture.
Glen’s outstanding work on the Carer Lived Experience project at Northern Health earned him the Allied Health Team Excellence Award 2023 after his two years in the mental health sector. Glen’s commitment to representing a diverse group of people with lived experience of mental and physical health challenges brings a new perspective to the Lived and Living Experience Authority.
