The Lived and Living Experience Authority

Throughout the year, the newly established Lived and Living Experience Authority, led by Co-Chairs Debbie Hamilton and Kerry Hawkins, has started to form and lay the groundwork for this sector-first governance body.

Following training around human rights, First Nations Lived Experience, and intersectionality, the new members took part in an in-depth induction that also included meetings with the Wellways Board, leading to work commencing on a Working Together Agreement between the two governance bodies. The first steps were also taken toward developing Terms of Reference, values, as well as a skills matrix and workplan for the new Lived and Living Experience Authority.

Due to its key leadership role, the Lived and Living Experience Authority has its own Annual Review video where the two Co-Chairs reflect on the year that was.
