Kerry works as a Commissioner at the National Mental Health Commission, focusing on transforming systems. She has lived experience as a family member of someone with mental health issues. Kerry’s extensive experience comes from working in senior roles with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), non-governmental organisations (NGOs), public mental health services, and other public sector roles. A recipient of the Churchill Scholarship and graduate of Boston University’s Global Leadership Institute’s Recovery Class of 2013, Kerry is currently investigating the role of families in mental health using international and contemporary rights-based approaches.
