All services at the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local are free, require no referral or Medicare card.
Creative therapy sessions offer a unique and often fun approach to healing and self-expression through art and music. By combining creativity with professional therapeutic support, these sessions create a safe and engaging space where you can explore emotions, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward healing and recovery. The focus is on the process of creation, not the end result.
How it works
You’ll have the freedom to work with various materials and instruments, letting your creativity guide your journey at your own pace. A qualified therapist will support and guide you throughout the experience.
Our creative therapy sessions are available as group or one-on-one experiences
The benefits

The act of creating is meditative and calming, reducing stress and promoting relaxation.
