About Local connections
The service aims to empower you to engage in a variety of community-based activities to improve social connection and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. If you’re 26+ and would like to improve your social connections and wellbeing, this service is for you!
How it works
You will be paired up with one of our supportive LinC Workers, who are part of our Local Services team. They will listen to you and help you explore your interests and determine which activities are best suited for you.
We focus on listening and understanding your concerns so that we can work with you, as well as your family, carers, and supporters if you feel comfortable involving them.
Together, we will create a plan that aligns with your goals and preferences. We are here to support you in your journey and enrich your life by creating social connections within your community through activities, volunteering, workshops, and outings
