Navigating mental health and wellbeing support can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re going through a tough time or caring for someone who is. It’s easy to feel lost and unsure of where to begin, and sometimes it can seem like your needs aren’t being met.
We’re here to listen and really understand your needs and goals.
You will be paired with a Peer Navigator will be with you every step of the way, supporting you on your mental health recovery journey, whatever that means for you.
You won’t have to repeat your story to different people—your Peer Navigator will stay with you, making sure your needs are at the centre of your journey to recovery.
What is a Peer Navigator?
Peer Navigators are individuals who have lived experience of mental health challenges, substance use concerns or are caring for someone experiencing these concerns.
Their personal experience builds trust and understanding, ensuring you get the support you need from someone who has experienced similar challenges.

Your Peer Navigator will:
- Support you on your journey using their own lived experience of navigating recovery.
- Support you to you explore your options and assist you with developing your recovery goals.
- Advocate for you when needed, or support you to advocate for yourself, ensuring your voice is heard at every stage.
- Work with our multidisciplinary team to help you access the full range of supports available
- When and if needed, provide a guided transition to other services within your community, ensuring you receive the right support for your unique needs.
- Check in regularly to make sure you’re comfortable with your support throughout your journey with us.
