About the Psychosocial Recovery Service

We’ll provide one-on-one support to talk about what recovery means for you and can work with you to:

  • Build skills to manage your mental health
  • Develop social skills and friendships
  • Build relationships with family
  • build capacity in managing day-to-day activities
  • Manage money
  • Find and look after a home
  • Increase educational, vocational and training skills
  • Address drug and alcohol use issues

Together, we’ll build a plan for your future and set goals for you to get involved in the community and engage with others.

How to access this service

People with severe mental health issues who are not receiving support from the NDIS may be eligible for Psychosocial Recovery Services. You may refer yourself or be referred by:

  • Carers
  • Friends and/or families
  • GPs and other service providers in the region

The program is available to people 16 years or older.
