About Well Connected
Well Connected provides short term support for participants to pursue wellbeing. Promoting the importance of connection and inclusion while providing practical support to participants.
In addition, the program aims to work directly with community members and groups to establish welcoming and mutually supportive spaces for all people.
Well Connected provides support to manage day-to-day needs such as:
- improving relationships with family and others
- maintaining physical wellbeing
- daily living needs
- educational and training goals
- building broader life skills, including confidence and resilience.
How to access Well Connected
Referrals to Well Connected can be made from clinical support, other support services, general practitioners, family members, friends or yourself.
Well Connected is for people who:
- do not have an NDIS package
- live with mental health issues or mental health concerns
- are not eligible for NDIS funding or are waiting for their NDIS plan
- live in the Barwon, Otways and Great South Coast regions of Victoria

Western Victoria Group Events
Unleash your creativity with this 8-week visual arts taster course. Use art as a means of relaxation and self-expression and enjoy the benefits that creative art brings to our emotional and physical wellbeing. A variety of mediums will be explored including mixed media collage, ceramics, sculptures and canvas painting. No experience necessary, all materials provided. Perfect for beginners and those with some art skills.

Join breathwork practitioner Athena Enterkin in this 8-week Heart centred Breathwork workshop. You will learn the technique of deeply breathing into your bodies, allowing any sensations or emotions to arise and then listening to the wisdom of your heart for guidance. Athena has been teaching breath work for over a decade and brings a wealth of knowledge to this space. Wear suitable comfortable clothing.

Creative Arts Journaling group is facilitated by Luke, a qualified Art Therapist. It provides a place and time to reflect on emotion, relationships, events and circumstances to inquire and derive meaning and understanding. A time to be mindful and creative, to be lost in process without a focus on outcomes and achievement. An opportunity to reflect upon and allow perspective and distance in order to find meaning and solace. A chance to meet and connect with others, develop relationships and share experience.

This group is a space for creation and design, for passions and projects to unfold, but most importantly, for connection, support and enjoying the company of others. A time for you to choose whatever you enjoy, be it writing, drawing, painting, puzzles etc. All whilst having a chat, sharing a cuppa and food with others in a safe space.

Come and try your hand at Balyang short par three golf course. Golf is a great way to get out in the open spaces with grass, trees, birds and a relaxed walk. Golfers will be introduced to the basics of golf from using a range finder to choosing a club.

Love fishing or interested in giving it a go? Fishcare Vic and Wellways join to present this 4-week fishing group. An opportunity for social engagement while learning sustainable fishing practices; everything from how to rig and cast a rod to fish identification. Beginner’s welcome!
Please note transportation to group is not provided. BYO drink, lunch or snacks and appropriate clothing for weather. This group is weather dependent, and all participants will be notified should group need to be cancelled due to inclement weather.

What a great way to connect with others! A gentle walk-through Geelong and surrounds, whilst having a chat with others and enjoy the outdoors with the views of the waterfront and gardens.
